The introduction of Executive Order 13101 directing government agencies to purchase "environmentally preferable" products and the increasing number of consumers demanding "green" products today present clear opportunities to chemical product manufacturers. EnviroKleen™ Product Certification provides a great deal of marketing and public relations opportunities in this age of increased awareness. Green Certifications are voluntary; therefore, green product certifications are showcases for manufacturers genuinely interested in being taken seriously by distributors and consumers who want to purchase products with verified green claims.

The goals of these green product certifications and labels are to validate specific environmental criteria and create awareness for environmental responsibility.

Currently, there is no international standard or North American mandate for the testing or display of green certification labeling; however, the EnviroKleen™ Certification Program represents a comprehensive review and establishes criteria for determining a product´s safe environmental profile and its safe use for people.

To qualify for the EnviroKleen™ Certification Program and authorized use of the EnviroKleen™ logo, a product must meet or exceed the criteria outlined in our evaluation standards.

The trend in the industry is clear; Green products are in demand and are actively being sought out by buyers.
